INAUGURATION OF KARUTHALVEEDU ON17/08/2019

The formal inauguration of KaruthalVeeduwas done jointly by Honorable Justice Mr. M.R Hariharan Nair and Deputy Inspector General Of Police,Thrissur, Mr. S. Surendran IPS, on August 17,2019.

The KaruthalVeedu, founded by Penuel Foundation is anon profit , public charitable trust that provides a total cost free safe and permanent home to the forgotten elderly.

A REFUGE FOR THE FORGOTTEN ELDERLY

It offers free accommodation, food , medical support, clothing , emotional support and other daily needs of the forgotten, irrespective of caste, creed , color, language etc.

A JOYFUL TRANSITION FOR THE ELDERLY

The inmates who once experienced grief and rejection due to neglect are now joyful and contend in their new home.

With no harm to the ecological equilibrium of the area, Penuel Foundation is located at the Pariyaram Panchayat of Thrissur district, encompassing excellent facilities.

Providing food for those wandering in the streets andthose hunger-stricken in their own homes.

HIGHLIGHTS OF FIRST-YEARANNIVERSARY

• On August 17, 2020 Penuel Foundation turned one year. Trust arrangedcelebrations within the organization, for the elderly parents, following social distancing rules and other safety measures.

OUR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE

In addition to accommodating the elderly, the Penuel Foundation has also been venturing into various community development services like distribution of food packets to the need in and around Chalakkudy, construction of house , educational support, medical support etc .
